The AOC Consortium's electronic invoicing service offers an alert system to entities that have integrated their accounting software into e.FACT. These alerts are sent to the mailbox indicated in the e.FACT registration form in the "Alert receiving email" section.

These alerts inform the entity if it has files ( invoices, attachments and statements ) pending download and incorporation into its accounting systems. Specifically, the alert message is generated if unreaded files are detected in the e.FACT mailbox by the entity that are more than 12 hours old .

In the event that you receive these alerts, your accounting software must download the files from the e.FACT mailboxes assigned to your entity and once downloaded, they must be deleted ( in the case of that only files are downloaded and not deleted, e.FACT will continue to send reminders ).
